NW 1st Avenue Train Station Gateway Beautification
Boca Raton, Florida
The NW 1st Avenue Gateway Beautification Project was developed to create a signature entrance to downtown Boca Raton while enhancing connectivity to the surrounding transit district and the nearby Brightline station. The project included roadway improvements, decorative hardscape and paver systems, pedestrian enhancements, landscaping, irrigation, lighting, wayfinding features, site furnishings, and associated infrastructure improvements to enhance the corridor's character.
The completed gateway creates a distinctive sense of arrival, improves pedestrian safety and accessibility, and advances the City’s vision for a vibrant, connected, and walkable downtown environment.
