The C.W. Thomas Park Redevelopment marks the first major implementation project of the City of Dania Beach's Parks Master Plan, transforming an existing neighborhood park into a comprehensive recreation and wellness destination that serves residents of all ages and advances the City's long-term vision. The project includes a new multi-purpose community center featuring an indoor gymnasium, elevated walking and jogging track, fitness center, classrooms, meeting rooms, kitchen and catering facilities, administrative offices, camp and programming spaces, and supporting amenities. Outdoor improvements include a swimming pool, water park and splash features, multi-use athletic fields, basketball courts, walking paths, outdoor fitness areas, playgrounds, expanded parking, landscaping, and supporting site infrastructure, all of which broaden the park's recreation offerings.
