Barton Blvd. is the main East/West corridor in the City of Rockledge.
Burkhardt Construction, Inc. was hired to design and build over a mile
of medium finish streetscape. The project consisted of a mile of
force main, nearly a mile of new drainage, new curb and gutter, new sidewalks,
new medians, milling and resurfacing and landscaping and irrigation. The Barton Blvd.
streetscape was the keystone project for the “Bringing the Future Back to
Barton” campaign. The project was completed ahead of schedule on budget.
